Job DetailsKey Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial and multifamily construction projects.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to determine scope of work.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective project execution.
- Maintain and update cost databases and bidding software to reflect current market trends.
- Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize budgets while maintaining quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, ideally within commercial or multifamily sectors.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Procore, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
