Job DetailsOur engineering company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in APQP, PPAP, IATF, SPC, control plans, and problem-solving. This is a full-time permanent position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for all products and services
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including IATF and ISO
- Conduct audits to assess the effectiveness of quality control measures and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues
- Lead problem-solving efforts to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain quality metrics to track performance and identify trends
- Provide training and support to employees on quality control procedures and techniques
- Participate in APQP and PPAP processes to ensure product launches meet customer requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in quality engineering in an engineering industry
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, IATF, SPC, control plans, and problem-solving
- Experience with quality management systems, including ISO and IATF
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
